Job summary

HighLevel is seeking a Software Engineer for the Client Portal Mobile Team. You will develop features, optimize performance, and improve reliability of the mobile app used by creators and businesses.

Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver scalable, consumer‑facing experiences across iOS and Android. You will contribute to Flutter/Dart development, maintain tooling, and ensure robust app performance with modern observability practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 2+ years using Flutter and Dart in production.
• Strong understanding of mobile app architecture and state management (Provider, Bloc, Riverpod, MobX).
• Experience integrating and optimizing RESTful APIs and backend communication.
• Proven ability to identify and fix performance bottlenecks, memory issues, and frame drops on iOS/Android.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and mobile testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with cross-platform optimizations and native integrations (iOS/Android).
• Strong debugging, profiling, and reliability metrics focus.
• Excellent collaboration across product, design, and backend teams.

As a mobile engineer, you'll focus on developing new features, optimizing performance, and enhancing the overall reliability of the mobile app to strengthen its reputation among users. You'll work closely with product, design, and backend teams to improve app stability, deliver delightful user experiences, and build features that scale across thousands of businesses and millions of users. Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, widget lifecycle, rendering, and advanced state management techniques (e. g., Provider, Bloc, Riverpod, MobX).
• Experience integrating and optimizing RESTful APIs and managing app communication with scalable backend systems.
• Proven ability to identify and fix performance bottlenecks, memory issues, and frame drops across iOS and Android.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and testing frameworks for mobile applications.
• Familiarity with cross-platform optimizations, native integrations (iOS/Android), and reducing app size.
• Strong fundamentals in debugging, profiling, and improving core app metrics such as startup time, crash rate, and responsiveness.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills: able to work closely with cross-functional teams in a distributed environment.
