Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the Core Engineering Automation team in New York. You will help develop and maintain automated risk and vulnerability management solutions to improve remediation and security postures for Amazon's products.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture of new and existing systems experience.
• 3+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Amazon’s Specialized Business Services Security team is seeking an innovative Software Development Engineer to join our Core Engineering Automation team. In this position, you will focus on developing and maintaining solutions that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of risk and vulnerability management initiatives. You will work with a diverse set of security professionals across Amazon to support our automation capabilities. You will develop solutions to drive prioritization and remediation of vulnerabilities and risk reduction to help deliver secure products for our customers.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

• 3+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
