As a Software Development Engineer, you will work hand-in-hand with Software Development and Network Engineering teams to drive stability, consistency, and sustainability of the network while never losing sight of the high security bar our customer’s demand. You’ll apply your large-scale understanding of computing solutions to write code and manage services that delight our customers.

You will be responsible for the design, implementation and quality of services you deliver. Your experience working in a systems development or in an enterprise environment will help us implement automated solutions across a variety of applications and systems.
CSA engineers have a wide range of responsibilities; we work with internal partners to develop and implement the next-generation platforms along with the tooling ecosystems to support these platforms driving efficiency and scalability through the automation of builds, configuration deployment, and the scaling of capacity. As our network is one of the largest in the world, there is no blueprint allowing our engineers to develop solutions to complex challenges that we face daily. The Building Connectivity Service Automation (CSA) team within Amazon Web Services builds and operates the software systems that automate critical enterprise networking and corporate infrastructure services at global scale. Our engineers design, develop, and maintain applications and infrastructure that enable reliable internal connectivity across Amazon's worldwide offices and data centers. The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
