Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer for the AI Studios Engineering group within Prime Video. The role focuses on building AI-native tools for production-quality animation and live-action content, leveraging Nara to empower creators with world-class IPs.

You will work with ML scientists and creatives to implement backend services, ML model integrations, and tooling, while ensuring robust design, reviews, and scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Experience designing or architecting large-scale systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software components for AI-native content platform
• Implement features across backend services, pipelines, APIs, and ML model integrations
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
• Collaborate with ML scientists, product managers, and creatives to understand requirements
• Integrate with industry-standard DCC tools like Adobe Animate, After Effects, Maya, and Storyboard Pro
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to system reliability and monitoring
• Participate in on-call rotations and continuous learning of new technologies
