Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer for the Agentic AI, Velocity Labs team. You will design and build AI primitives and user facing services in a fast-paced environment, shipping features from concept to rollout while maintaining high quality and schedules.

You will participate in planning, review designs, and work with AI/ML practitioners and engineers to shape future products, enabling AWS customers to leverage agentic AI innovations at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for large systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale distributed software.
• 1+ years of OO design experience.
• Experience programming with at least one language.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI primitives and user facing services for Velocity Labs.
• Ship features from concept to design to implementation and rollout.
• Review system designs and collaborate to shape product direction.
• Follow best practices to ensure schedules and quality.
