As a Software Development Engineer in the AFX Core Experiences team, you’ll have a unique opportunity to shape the development of our services and positively affect our customers through our talented field team. You’ll be chartered with creating and operating services that collect and store metrics at internet scale, deliver critical capabilities to the field and embed operational knowledge and encode best practices into everything we do. In addition, as part of the broader AWS organization, you will have the opportunity to influence the broader cloud strategy for Amazon.
You’ll start the day diving into building and integrating AI agent services and tooling used by AWS sellers and partners. You’ll have team standup. You’ll write and review code, pair with teammates to unblock work, and collaborate with product and partner teams to refine requirements. Expect a mix of hands-on coding, design discussions on agent orchestration and data integration, and operational ownership of the services you build. You’ll work alongside engineers who invest in your growth, tackle ambiguous problems in a fast‑moving AI space, and ship solutions that scale across the sales organization.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
