Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Software Development Engineer for the 3P Measurement Tech team in New York, NY. You will design, build, and deploy data-intensive analytical products to measure cross-channel advertising performance at massive scale.

Work involves Spark (Scala), EMR, Redshift, S3, Elasticsearch, and JVM-based services; collaborate with engineers to deliver scalable analytics, and contribute to evolving data infrastructure. On-site in NYC with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience on large systems.
• 1+ years designing and developing large-scale software applications using Java, C#, C++, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software language.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and deploy data-intensive analytical products for cross-channel advertising performance.
• Build and optimize large-scale data pipelines with Spark, EMR, Redshift, S3, and Elasticsearch.

About the team

We are the 3P Measurement tech team — we build solutions that enable third-party measurement providers to measure Amazon Ads campaigns and deliver measurement results and insights to advertisers. Our team values autonomy, innovation, and engineering excellence.

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
