CVS Health is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design and build scalable AI-powered applications, platform services, and APIs across cloud environments. Qualifications include 3+ years of software development, RESTful APIs, cloud experience (GCP/AWS/Azure), CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes, OO design, and Agile practices.

The Software Development Engineer (SDE) will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable AI-powered applications, platform services, APIs, and automation solutions that support enterprise AI initiatives. This role partners closely with Product, Architecture, Data Science, Operations, Security, and Platform Engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing solutions across cloud environments. The engineer will contribute to AI Platform products and foundational services, including LLM integrations, AI agents, observability, governance, redaction, analytics, and developer productivity tools while ensuring adherence to enterprise standards and best practices.
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
