Esri in Redlands, CA is seeking a senior C++ software engineer to join the Desktop Architecture team. You will build components and APIs, work with product engineers, and contribute to high-performance, reliable GIS software.

This role requires 3 years of experience, a related degree, and proficiency in C++, OpenGL, data structures, and Python. Esri offers a competitive total rewards package including health, retirement plans, and generous vacation.

ArcGIS Pro is a powerful geographic information system (GIS) software used to analyze, visualize, and share spatial data, addressing real-world challenges. As a key member of our Desktop Architecture team, you will have the opportunity to work on extensive software infrastructure and frameworks, quickly adapt to established coding patterns, and contribute to enhancing performance, reliability, and security.

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is

$172,000 — $180,000 USD
