Role Overview

Senior Software Development Engineer – San Francisco Bay Area (100% onsite). This role involves developing and deploying cutting‑edge, AI‑driven enterprise applications on the client’s proprietary AI platform.

Location & Availability

San Francisco Bay Area – 100% onsite required. Candidates who are not local are offered weekly travel or relocation support. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship at this time.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy full‑stack AI‑centric enterprise applications on the client AI platform, ensuring integration with advanced data solutions.
• Lead architecture, development, and maintenance of comprehensive data integration systems using efficient ETL processes with Python, Pandas, and NumPy for large‑scale data manipulation.
• Implement and maintain application functionality using JavaScript or another object‑oriented language (e.g., Python, C#) in client environments.
• Proactively test, diagnose, and refine software applications alongside clients to achieve high quality and optimal functionality.
• Identify and rectify performance issues within applications and integrated data systems, focusing on efficiency, optimization, and data integrity.
• Utilize shell scripting and cron job scheduling for automating routine data operations, ETL tasks, and ensuring data accuracy and harmonization.
• Participate in and lead design and review processes for internal and client software applications.
• Implement and manage version control using Git, handling repository operations including rebase, pull, push, and branch management.
• Create detailed application specifications and maintain precise documentation throughout the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Interest and ability to become certified on the end client AI platform (training and support provided).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in software development with JavaScript and Python.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and version control systems, preferably GitLab.
• Strong background in shell scripting and cron job scheduling for automating data processes.
• Experience with various JavaScript frameworks (React, Redux, Vue, Backbone, Angular).
• Experience deploying software on leading cloud computing platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Understanding of SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Strong skills in data structures, algorithm design, and implementation.
• Proficiency in handling and analyzing time‑series data, including cleansing and normalization.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.

Pay

Estimated salary range: $90,000 to $160,000. Bonus eligibility may apply.
