Job summary

Adobe is seeking an experienced Quality & Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust automation suites for UI, API, and services. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and SRE to define end‑to‑end test strategies and drive coverage improvements.

Qualifications

• B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science from a premier institute.
• 5+ years of API & web app automation experience as Q&A/Automation Engineer.
• Strong expertise in Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, TestNG frameworks.
• Solid understanding of test design principles and software testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with functional, regression, integration, performance, and E2E testing.
• Experience in test planning, test case design, execution, and reporting.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Java for automation development.
• Proficient in creating AI-assisted testing tools and automation accelerators.
• Hands-on experience with infra creation, debugging and deployment strategies.

What you'll do

Design, develop, review, and maintain robust automation test suites across UI, API, and services Participate across multiple phases of engineering lifecycle — from early PRDs and design reviews to development, testing, deployment, and production support Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Product, SRE) to understand requirements and define end‑to‑end test strategies Define and execute E2E functional, regression, integration, performance, and system testing Build and maintain scalable test frameworks, reusable utilities, and supporting infrastructure Analyze test results, identify gaps, and continuously improve test coverage and reliability Leverage AI‑based tooling to improve automation velocity, coverage, and quality

Requirements

• B.Tech / M.Tech degree in Computer Science from a premier institute.
• 5+ years of experience with API & web applications as Quality & Automation Engineer
• Strong expertise in automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, TestNG
• Solid understanding of test design principles and software testing methodologies
• Hands‑on experience with functional, regression, integration, performance, and E2E testing
• Experience in test planning, test case design, execution, and reporting
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Java for automation development
• Proficient in creating AI‑assisted testing tools and automation accelerators
• Hands‑on experience with infra creation, debugging, deployment tools and strategies
• Passionate about quality of work, you are persistent and uncompromising

Expected Pay Range

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $114,100 -- $214,950 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

In California, the pay range for this position is $148,500 - $214,950

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
