Job summary

VT Group is seeking a Software Developer/Systems Engineer to build and maintain enterprise data feeds powering our security platforms. You will integrate data from multiple vendor APIs, create robust ETL pipelines, and leverage AI for data extraction and normalization.

Requirements include TS/SCI with Poly, 5+ years in production data pipelines with Python, and experience consuming REST APIs at scale. Proficiency with Nmap or Rapid7 is preferred, along with AI integration and proactive issue

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
• 5+ years building production data pipelines with Python.
• Proven experience consuming REST or similar APIs at scale.
• Familiarity with tools such as Nmap, Rapid7, or similar tools.
• Experience integrating AI with an application for efficient code responses.

What will you do?

• Design and maintain enterprise data feeds from 10+network and security vendor APIs;
• Build intelligent parsers that handle diverse data formats;
• Orchestrate automated pipelines for regular data download, transformation and loading;
• Ensure reliability and performance through monitoring, error handling, and optimization;
• Adapt to change by quickly resolving API updates, data format changes, and vendor issues;
• Integrate AI capabilities for data extraction, classification, anomaly detection, and auto-healing.
• Perform technical evaluations of new tools for potential use and positive impact on project processes

Do you have what it takes?

• Active TS/SCI With Poly Required.
• 5+ years building production data pipelines with Python
• Proven experience consuming REST or similar APIs at scale
• Familiarity with tools such as Nmap, Rapid7, or similar tools
• Experience integrating AI with an application for efficient code responses

Pay Range:

VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $180,000-$230,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
