Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, build, test, and maintain high-level healthcare applications. You will provide technical leadership, collaborate with business analysts, and guide development teams through full software lifecycles.

The role emphasizes modern .NET stacks, full-stack capabilities, and delivering robust, scalable solutions within a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of object oriented design rules.
• Proven team oriented developer with ability to deliver on time.
• Experience in an entire product development lifecycle.
• Solid experience with C# and .NET technologies.
• Full stack experience strongly preferred.
• React JS experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with XML/XSLT and SQLServer/T-SQL.
• Proficient in Visual Studio 2020/2022/2026.
• Experience developing Windows Forms and Windows services.

Responsibilities

• Builds, implements and tests new applications, upgrades, enhancements, database designs, and maintenance to ensure system compatibility.
• Ensures integration of new applications with existing environments.
• Trains and assists in developing personnel; cross-training to build team skills.
• Establishes technical standards and guidelines for efficient programming.
• Keeps user manuals current and up to date.
• Maintains knowledge of current technologies and trends.
• Writes technical documentation for development and support processes.
• Meets with customers and Business Analysts to create software requirements, architecture, testing plans, and release docs.
• Conceives and presents architectural approaches for software applications.

Job Summary

The Software Developer, Senior develops high-level applications for the System. This includes design, implementation, and testing of applications. Provides advanced technical expertise and product knowledge to ensure successful implementation and help. Provides full leadership in project implementations. Works with users to help business applications and specifications.

Wage Transparency: The pay range for this position is $100,318.40 (entry-level qualifications) - $155,480 (highly experienced) The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate’s specific qualifications and prior experience.

Essential Functions of the Role
