Job summary

DuGood Federal Credit Union in Beaumont, Texas, is seeking an IT Software Development Associate to join our development team. You’ll help build, maintain, and improve systems and tools that keep our credit union running smoothly, with a focus on reporting and web-based tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Corelation Keystone or willingness to learn.
• Experience with or exposure to Jaspersoft and/or Tableau reporting tools preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Great attention to detail and solid problem-solving skills.
• The ability to communicate clearly, work both independently and with a team, and meet deadlines without breaking a sweat.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve systems and tools that keep DuGood running smoothly.
• Support the creation, optimization, and maintenance of reports in Jaspersoft and Tableau.
• Assist with development of web-based and core-integrated tools and applications.
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (design, development, testing, deployment, documentation).
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve system or data issues.
• Collaborate with departments to gather requirements and deliver reliable technical solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems.
• Maintain documentation of development and reporting processes.
• Participate in testing of software releases and updates to Keystone and related platforms.
• Stay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices relevant to development and reporting.
• Other duties as assigned.
