Job summary

VTG Defense in Herndon, VA is seeking senior software engineers to contribute to national security projects. You will design and develop software components, research new concepts, and demo proofs-of-concept alongside a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires active TS/SCI with Poly, 10+ years of Python experience, and strong Linux/Unix, SQL, and full-stack capabilities. Expect rigorous code reviews, automated testing, and agile collaboration.

PayRange: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $180,000-$230,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
