• 2+ years of related software development experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (DoD 8570 Compliance).
• US citizenship is required.
• CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570 Compliance) certification is preferred.

How a Software Developer Will Make an Impact

• Designing, developing, coding, testing, and debugging complex new software products, and making significant enhancements to existing software.
• Integrating design strategies, product specifications, development schedules, and user expectations into product capabilities.
• Resolving complex hardware/software compatibility and interface design considerations.
• Researching emerging technologies to determine impact on application execution.
• Providing input to staff involved in writing and updating technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, and training materials.
• Troubleshooting complex problems and providing customer support for process specific hardware and application issues.
• Preparing reports on analyses, findings, and project progress.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
• Required Experience: 2 years of related software development experience
• Required Technical Skills: CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570 Compliance) Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills
• Preferred Skills: Development experience with .Net, C#, SQL, JS, and HTML
• Location: On Customer Site, Washington, District of Columbia

• The likely salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
