Job summary

TMC Technologies is seeking a mid-level Software Developer to support the FBI's EPAS program in Washington, DC. You will maintain mission-critical .NET web applications using an Oracle database and take ownership of the codebase.

The role requires US citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance. Onsite presence in downtown DC is required, five days per week. You will collaborate in an Agile environment and contribute to deployment pipelines using Git, GitLab, GitHub, Git Actions, and SVN.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required and active Top Secret clearance required.
• Minimum of 5 years of software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Onsite presence in downtown DC 5 days per week.
• Experience with databases in a Production environment.
• Experience with .NET development.
• Experience with version control and deployment pipelines: Git, GitLab, GitHub, Git Actions, SVN.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

TMC Technologies is in search of a mid-level Software Developer to support the FBI's EPAS program. You will be responsible for maintaining mission-critical .NET web applications using an Oracle database. The ideal candidate will be able to take ownership of the codebase and provide recommendations to stakeholders. The candidate must be a US citizen and possess a minimum of an active Top Secret clearance to start due to federal contract requirements.

The Software Developer - Mid will have the following responsibilities:

• Creates and executes DDL and DML statements
• Correct bugs and handle production support for the applications
• Implement enhancements for the applications
• Manage version control for the existing team
• Work and report within an Agile Framework
• Create documentation for legacy applications, such as data dictionaries

Job Requirements

• US Citizenship and active Top Secret clearance required
• Minimum of 5 years of software development experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required
• Onsite presence in downtown DC 5 days per week
• Previous work experience with databases in a Production environment
• Previous work experience with .NET
