The Booz Allen Summer Games internship program is designed to develop breakthrough ideas while building technical skills. Interns work in teams on challenging projects, receiving mentorship from senior leaders and solving problems using Booz Allen’s products and engagement models.

Applicants compete to join a collaborative startup‑like environment, with a final Challenge Cup presented to senior leadership. The program emphasizes teamwork, research, and hands-on software development experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C, C++, Assembly, Python, Perl, R or Bash.
• Experience with machine learning, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithms in academic or internship settings.
• Experience with conducting research and writing software.
• Ability to produce technical documentation and design artifacts.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in a Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field by Summer 2028 or Summer 2029.
