Apple, Inc. in Cupertino, California is seeking a highly technical Core I/O Quality Engineer to own testing for high-speed I/O technologies such as USB, Thunderbolt, PCIe and DisplayPort. You will design, develop and execute automated tests and drive quality across firmware drivers and related software stacks.

You will work with cross-functional teams, analyze complex issues across hardware and software layers, and help build scalable test frameworks to release reliable, stellar products.

Formación

• Bachelors in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience/skills
• Solid OS & Embedded Systems fundamentals
• Familiarity with Python/C++/C programming

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and own automated tests for new and existing technologies
• Own overall testing and quality of the technologies for which you are responsible
• Contribute to development of test frameworks & tools to support large scale testing on shipping & in-development Apple Systems.
• Investigate and analyze issues spanning across the hardware and software interaction layers
• Work closely with engineering and project management teams to ensure quality releases
