Job summary

ITA Group is seeking a Software Developer III for a full-time, on-site role in Des Moines, IA. The position involves designing, coding, testing, and documenting web applications within a collaborative agile team.

You will help resolve production issues, mentor peers, and stay current with evolving technologies. The ideal candidate has 4–8 years of experience in client/server or web applications, strong database skills, and proficiency with .NET, C#, MVC/MVP, and modern front-end libraries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or an Associate's degree with related work experience.
• 4–8 years of experience with client/server and/or web-based applications.
• 4–8 years' experience with relational databases.
• 4–8 years' experience supporting production systems.
• Experience with the listed technologies/tools/frameworks (Visual Studio, SQL Server, Git, ORM, C#, T-SQL, JS libraries, CI, Bootstrap).
• Ability to work in a collaborative/agile development environment and communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Architect, code and test new web applications or enhance existing ones.
• Estimate enhancements in time, skills and resources.
• Meet commitments within timelines and criteria.
• Maintain code quality and standard practices.
• Support and troubleshoot existing sites with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate with IT contacts to resolve data issues and meet client requirements.
• Mentor others in software development standards and practices.
