Job summary

RepliGen Corporation is seeking an early-career Software Engineer to support software for laboratory and bioprocessing systems. You will design, develop, test, and maintain applications in C#/.NET, build data-access components with PostgreSQL, and deploy via Docker.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to Agile processes, create tests, and help integrate software with lab instrumentation. A BS in CS/SE or related field and up to 3 years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Up to three years of professional software development experience, including internships or co-op.
  • Working knowledge of C# and the .NET platform.
  • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL; PostgreSQL experience is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of Docker and containerized application development.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
  • Experience using Git or another source-control system.
  • Familiarity with unit testing, debugging, and software defect tracking.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C# and .NET.

  • Participate in software design discussions, code reviews, and Agile development activities.
  • Create unit and integration tests and assist with system-level testing.

  • Produce technical documentation in accordance with the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with software, electrical, mechanical, systems, QA, and product teams.
  • Support the integration of software with pumps, sensors, controllers, and other laboratory instrumentation.

The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $72,000 -$103,500 . Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package. We offer a wide range of benefits such as paid time off, health/dental/vision, retirement benefits and flexible spending accounts.
