Job summary

FlexTrade Systems is seeking talented developers to work on the FlexONE OMS/EMS platform. You will design and implement features in a high-performance, multi-asset trading environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in CS or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages (Scala, Go, etc.).
• A firm understanding of maintainable design concepts and development practices focused on provable correctness.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas, problems, and solutions.
• Motivation and determination to achieve, learn, and grow.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new features on the product roadmap using Go, Spark, and data lakehouse services.
• Take initiative and gather requirements from Project Managers and other sources.
• Identify and implement performance enhancements in the core product.
• Implement bug fixes and assist with production support as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members while proactively solving problems.

FlexONE Team

We are looking for talented developers who are passionate about technology to work on FlexTrade’s OEMS platform, FlexONE, which is our state-of-the-art, fully integrated Order Management System (OMS) and Execution Management System (EMS). Our team is responsible for the development of the firm’s flagship, buy-side OMS.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in CS or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages (Scala, Go, etc.).
• A firm understanding of maintainable design concepts and development practices focused on provable correctness.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas, problems, and solutions.
• Motivation and determination to achieve, learn, and grow.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with functional programming concepts (Scala is a plus).
• Experience AWS cloud services.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
