Job summary

Enterprise Engineering Services (EES) is seeking a full-time Software Developer to join our Egg Harbor Township, NJ team. The role focuses on FAA programs, cloud-based development, and enterprise-grade software delivery.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of software experience, be proficient with Java/Angular/Spring Boot, and work within cloud/hybrid environments following Agile and DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of FAA standards.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Experience developing software using Java, Angular, Spring Boot, or similar technologies.
• Experience developing applications within cloud or hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience working within microservices architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade software solutions for FAA modernization initiatives.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews to shape technical solutions.
• Translate system and business requirements into clean, scalable code.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and project stakeholders to ensure requirements are met while supporting CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Conduct code reviews, develop and execute unit, integration, and regression tests; troubleshoot software and system integration challenges.
• Create technical documentation and ensure solutions meet federal compliance and security standards.
• Contribute to verification/validation activities, readiness reviews, and modernization efforts; identify opportunities to improve automation and development processes.
