Job summary

Adobe is looking for a Software Developer Engineer to help build a next-generation AI-first marketing application. You will develop critical components of the Agentic App, translating product goals into engineering plans while advocating the right tools and technologies.

You will write clean, scalable code, perform peer reviews, and contribute to CI/CD and observability best practices. You will collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver customer-centric features and mentor

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 4-6 years of hands-on software development experience.
  • Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
  • Proven expertise in Java, Scala, and clean architecture principles.
  • Experience with Campaign Execution systems and Generative AI is a strong plus.
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and “always-up” systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and container orchestration tools like Argo CD.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A mindset of curiosity, ownership, and relentless focus on solving real customer problems with high-quality software.

What You’ll Do

What You Need to Succeed

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $139,000 -- $257,550 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

In California, the pay range for this position is $177,900 - $257,550

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
