Job summary

Qualifications

  • Preferred: engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, math, data science, or computer science degree.
  • Experience: 5+ years for experienced level; 9+ years for senior level, depending on education.
  • 3+ years supporting multiple programs and functions preferred.
  • 1+ years of mission- or safety-critical software development preferred.
  • 1+ years aerospace/defense experience preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills.
  • Experience with agile development preferred.
  • Proven leadership or project coordination experience valued.
  • Familiarity with software best practices, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD.
  • Candidates must complete a technical assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and maintain full-stack software for model-based sustainment simulations.
  • Gather needs from users and stakeholders and translate into scalable systems.
  • Coordinate complex development across teams to align with program goals.
  • Lead or support planning, code reviews, and agile delivery activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve defects to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Improve processes, tooling, and documentation to boost productivity and quality.
  • Apply system-level thinking to integrate software components in the wider environment.
  • Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the team.

This is a 100% onsite role on first shift, with relocation available for eligible candidates.
