Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience writing, modifying, and testing software in a production environment.
- Experience developing desktop or web applications in C#, VB.NET or other .NET languages.
- Experience with web frameworks (ASP.NET, Vue.js, Angular, React.js, Node.js, Bootstrap).
- Experience with source control (Git, SVN, TFS).
Responsibilities
- Assist in design of programs and systems from requirements.
- Ensure specifications are thorough to avoid coding problems.
- Translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Code, modify and test program changes to meet specs.
- Provide support in development and testing activities for other engineers.
- Document solutions with clear code comments and diagrams.
- Maintain completed/existing programs.
- Provide technical support to software end users.
- Commit to continuous improvement and university initiatives.
- Travel 5–10% of time as needed.
