Job summary

Progression Inc. in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Senior Software Developer (Azure) to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using C# and .NET in an onsite role.

This position requires strong Azure and DevOps expertise, SQL Server proficiency, and a track record building scalable web applications for government stakeholders. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in software development, 5+ years in C#/.NET, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications using C# and .NET.
• Support mission-critical dashboards and enterprise web applications.
• Develop upgrades, enhancements, and new functionality.
• Troubleshoot production application and database issues.
• Manage and support Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Develop and troubleshoot SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Support database maintenance, reporting, and data extraction.
• Assist with SQL Server tuning, indexing, and optimization.
• Utilize Azure and Azure DevOps for development and delivery.
• Support source control (Git/TFVC) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain configuration control and change documentation.

MUST

• Active Secret clearance required

• 10 plus years of software/application development experience
• 5+ years of C# and .NET
• Strong C# and .NET development experience
• Azure and/or Azure DevOps experience
• Microsoft SQL Server database support experience
• SQL queries, stored procedures, data extraction and integration experience
• Git and/or Team Foundation Version Control (TFVC) experience
• CI/CD and automated build/release experience
• Strong production troubleshooting experience
• Enterprise or web-based application development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent experience
