Job summary

Legacy IHP Solutions is seeking a full-time Backend Software Developer to join our small, high-impact development team working on a healthcare SaaS platform. You will focus on data integration and ETL work, building pipelines that move data reliably between our system and external partners, with growth into broader backend features over time.

This role is remote and open to candidates based in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, or Florida.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with Python.
• Experience with ETL/data pipeline work.
• Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, X12/EDI) or other regulated/structured data integrations.
• Experience with Azure data/integration tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data integration pipelines to move data between our SaaS platform and external partners.
• Extend backend features as integration needs evolve and scale.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure reliable data flows and robust error handling.

This role will focus heavily on data integration and ETL work, building and maintaining pipelines that move data reliably between our system and external partners. As our integration needs evolve, we expect this role to grow into broader backend feature development alongside the rest of the team.

This is a work-from-home position open to those based out of Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, or Florida. Typical schedule would be 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday. Some projects may require more flexibility in working times.

Qualifications:

• Solid experience with Python
• Experience with ETL/data pipeline work
• Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, X12/EDI) or other regulated/structured data integrations
• Experience with Azure data/integration tooling
