AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Software Developer to join our Florida team, reporting full-time to the client office in Tallahassee. The role involves system analysis, data collection and integration, and designing robust enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, and REST APIs.

The ideal candidate holds a BS/BA in CS or IT-related field with 3–6+ years of experience, strong SQL Server/Oracle skills, and familiarity with Power BI and SharePoint.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science or IT-related discipline with 3–6+ years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience with Enterprise Solutions software, Power BI, SharePoint, SQL Server and Oracle.
• Experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, Razor Pages, Blazor, REST APIs, Azure DevOps, Git, and Python.
• Experience in designing and developing large applications and coordinating multiple programmers.
• Broad experience with database design and/or administration of enterprise relational DBMS.
• Excellent interpersonal, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to report to client office 5 days per week.
• Industry certification such as Microsoft MCSD or engineering registration is a plus.

Overview

AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Software Developer to work on a variety of exciting projects in Florida. This position will report full-time to our client office located in Tallahassee, FL.

Your role

• Participates in client needs analyses.
• May participate in collection, conversion, and assembly of data in a variety of formats.
• May participate in documentation and diagramming of business and technical requirements.
• May participate in database/application design.
• Develops customized applications by writing well-documented code in the applicable environment to meet documented software requirements.
• Performs maintenance tasks on existing projects following the project's'established architecture/design.
• Prepares data documentation for projects, following prescribed Best Practices.
• Maintains continued knowledge of technology developments in the field and use of applicable programming languages.
• Monitors quality control within area of responsibility.
• Manages commitments to complete tasks within given schedule and budget.
• Performs such other duties as the Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

About you

• B.S. or B.A in Computer Science or IT-related discipline with 3-6+ years of relevant experience in computer programming and software development.

• Must have extensive experience with the following: Enterprise Solutions software, Power BI, SharePoint, SQL Server and other databases such as Oracle.

• Experience with: C#, ASP.NET Core, Razor Pages, Blazor, REST APIs, Azure DevOps, Git, and Python.

• Experience in the design and development of large applications, including application development processes and quality control while coordinating multiple programmers.

• Must have broad experience with database design and/or
  administration of enterprise relational database management systems.

• Should demonstrate excellent interpersonal, technical writing and communication skills.

• Ability to report to our client office 5 days per week.

• An industry recognized certification, i.e., Microsoft Certified Solution Developer desired, or professional registration in the case of incumbents with Engineering degrees.

Additional information

Expected compensation range is between $67,000-$85,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
