Freezing Point, Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking a Software Developer to own features end-to-end and contribute to a fast-growing frozen beverage tech stack. You will work onsite with a collaborative team on challenging system design problems and product roadmaps.

The role requires strong Python experience (Django/Flask), SQL expertise, and Agile experience, with a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field. Hybrid or onsite, with a comprehensive benefits package and a focus on code quality.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL database knowledge.
• Basic front-end tech: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Agile environments.

Description

Freezing Point is the fastest growing frozen beverage company in the U.S. and the maker of Frazil, 100% Juice Frazil, Frazil Energy, and Café Tango! We are a growing, high-performance team in search of a Software Developer who is passionate about technology, loves to learn new things, and takes ownership of the products on which they work.

This is a highly collaborative, fully onsite role. Salary range is $100,000-$120,000 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software using established best practices for creating readable and maintainable code
• Investigate, prototype, and implement solutions to complex system design challenges
• Prioritize identifying and resolving bugs to ensure the best user experience
• Collaborate with product managers and subject-matter experts to define roadmaps and anticipate technical roadblocks
• Work closely with local and offshore engineering teams to ensure the highest level of code quality
• Assist with other special projects and duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:

• At least 3 years of experience in Python (Django, Flask, or other frameworks) and REST APIs
• Expert-level understanding of databases with an emphasis on SQL
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• 5+ years of professional experience developing applications in an Agile environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline

Preferred Qualifications & Competencies:

• Understanding of software design principles and common design patterns
• Experience building cloud-native solutions (AWS preferred)
• Experience conducting in-depth code reviews
• Experience working within complex or enterprise-level software environments
