Job summary

Geoprobe Systems is seeking a Software Developer to design and build solutions within Epicor ERP and Centerpoint, our in-house platform. You will design databases, write scalable code, and integrate Epicor with internal applications while collaborating with an IT team on-site in Salina.

You will work on ERP customizations, new features, and integrations, partnering with departments to gather requirements and deliver reliable software for internal users and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of ERP software experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong skills in C#/.NET, SQL, and JavaScript; Vue.js is a plus.
• Ability to work with REST APIs to integrate third-party applications.
• Ability to understand, modify, and refactor existing code in an unfamiliar codebase.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proven prioritization, time management, and decision-making abilities.
• Self-directed—able to own projects from requirements to delivery.
• Team-oriented—collaborates with IT and users across the company.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom solutions within Epicor ERP and interface with in-house apps.
• Build and maintain Centerpoint, the in-house software platform (C#/.NET, Vue.js, SQL Server).
• Collaborate with departments to gather requirements and decide on ERP customization or new integrations.
• Design database schemas and write efficient queries for features and reporting.
• Create or modify reports, queries, and dashboards to meet user needs.
• Write clean, reliable, scalable code and consider future maintainability.
• Provide occasional technical support to internal users.

Geoprobe® designs and manufactures drilling machines andtoolingused by companies worldwide. Behind the scenes, our software team builds the systems that run the business.We'reseeking a Software Developer to create custom solutions within our Epicor ERP system and to design and build software used both inside the company and by our customers.

This is a role for someone who designs systems, not justimplementsthem. When a departmentbrings usa business problem,you'llhelp decide the right approach(ERP customization, a new feature in one of our in-house applications, or an integration between systems)and then build it.You'llwork on-site in Salina as part of a small, collaborative IT team, with your work reaching every corner of the company.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom solutions within our Epicor ERP system, and build programs that interface Epicor with in-house applications
• Work with our development team to build andmaintainCenterpoint, our custom in-house software platform (C#., Vue.js, SQL Server)
• Collaborate with departments across the company to gather and analyze requirements, thendetermine the right technical approach — an Epicor customization, a Centerpoint feature, or a new integration
• Design database schemas and write efficient queries to support new features and reporting
• Consult with users to gather reporting needs, and create ormodifyreports, queries, and dashboards
• Write clean, reliable, maintainable, and testable code, and design for scalability from the start
• Anticipate potential issues and design around them or resolve them proactively
• Work within processes and practices developed by the IT team
• Provide occasional technical support to internal users

• Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Copilot, Claude) in daily development
