Job description

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join the Wipro-Amazon team in Redmond, WA. The ideal candidate will have strong software development experience with Java, Python, Bash/Shell scripting, and Linux, along with solid troubleshooting and software testing skills.

Experience in embedded systems, aerospace, satellite, IoT, OTA updates, or mission-critical software environments is highly preferred.

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience in an industry environment.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Python.
• Solid hands-on experience with Bash/Shell scripting.
• Strong experience working in Linux-based development environments, including development, debugging, and deployment.
• Experience with software testing methodologies and test automation frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex production issues.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with embedded systems development.
• Familiarity with C++ and/or Rust.
• Experience with OTA (Over-the-Air) update systems or software deployment pipelines.
• Background in satellite systems, aerospace, or IoT device platforms.
• Experience with on-call operations, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of storage management systems and distributed software deployment.
• Experience working with mission-critical or safety-critical software systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build automation tools.
