Job summary

DevApps IT is seeking a software engineer to develop solutions bridging client use cases with open-source solutions. You will build and maintain a microservices framework using Apigee Edge and Spring Boot and develop RESTful APIs with Node.js and Spring Boot.

You will integrate Oracle databases, deploy cloud applications in AWS and OKE, and improve performance and scalability of microservices. Travel to client sites is required, with offices across the USA as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in CS/IT/IS/Engineering or related field.
• At least 6 months of experience in IT consulting or development.
• Willingness to travel across USA; international travel not required.
• Experience with AWS or microservices is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservices architectures using Apigee Edge and Spring Boot.
• Build RESTful APIs with Node.js and Spring Boot; integrate Oracle databases.
• Deploy and manage cloud apps in AWS and OKE; optimize performance and scalability.

Develop solutions to bridge the gap between common client technical use cases and open-source solutions. Build and maintain the client’s internal framework that provides prebuilt building blocks for a microservice application. Design and implement microservices architectures using Apigee Edge and Spring Boot. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Spring Boot. Integrate Oracle databases with Apigee Edge and Spring Boot applications. Deploy and manage cloud applications in AWS and OKE. Improve microservices architecture performance and scalability using Apigee Edge and Spring Boot. Reduce RESTful API development time using Node.js and Spring Boot. Improve Apigee Edge application data access performance using SQL and JDBC. Work under supervision. Travel and/or relocation to unanticipated client sites throughout USA is required.

Master’s degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ IS/ Engineering (Any) or related field with Six (6) months of experience in the job offered or as an IT Consultant or Analyst or Programmer or Developer or Engineer or closely related field.

Experience of Six (6) months working with AWS or Microservices is required. Travel and/or relocation is required to unanticipated client sites within USA. International travel is not required. The frequency of travel is currently not known as it depends on the client and project requirement that cannot be currently anticipated. Employer provides Information technology services to various clients in USA and hence implementing projects will require such travel.
