Job summary

You will work with leadership to craft robust interfaces, integrate APIs, and ensure quality through testing and documentation. A BS in CS is required, and 3+ years in full stack development is preferred.

The Opportunity:

We are searching for a highly skilled, self-motivated, detail-oriented Full Stack Developer to help design, build, and maintain our next generation of web-based software systems. We prefer a contract-to-hire approach to ensure strong alignment with the existing team, and we are committed to taking the time necessary to identify the right long-term fit.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Mix Leadership and other Mix team members in the design and creation of scalable software for mobile and desktop environments.
• Build the front end of applications with a modern, user-friendly design.
• Design responsive applications using Bootstrap.
• Design client- and server-side architecture.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Test software to ensure design requirements, quality, and functionality.
• Create reports and project updates as needed for management review.
• Apply knowledge of AI, data, and technology practices to improve processes where appropriate.
• Perform additional ad hoc responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Required Technical Skills:

• 3 + years as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
• Full stack development experience.
• Exposure to PHP coding language; expert-level PHP experience is not required.
• Experience with SQL Server.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience developing web-based mobile and desktop applications.
• Experience with API integrations.
• Strong documentation, detail orientation, and QA/testing capabilities.
• BS in computer science or related field is required.

Desired Technical Skills

• Azure platform experience.
• PowerShell experience.
• Data warehouse knowledge or experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of effective ways to work with AI.
• Experience with source control management.
• Bootstrap and jQuery experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft IIS.
• User interface and user experience design skills.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
