Job summary

Fusion Technology seeks a Mid-Level Software Developer to design, develop, and customize software products for government and intel clients. You'll work with Java, Node.js, Angular, SQL, and AWS Lambda, building RESTful APIs and modern UIs, and may handle end-to-end development from analysis to delivery.

Remote position with occasional travel to the main site for events; requires an active Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience or 4 extra years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Proficiency with Java, Node.js, Angular, SQL and AWS Cloud (Lambda).
• Other tools include PostgreSQL, Atlassian Suite, CI/CD, XML; Python and DevOps helpful.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure customized software to meet client requirements.
• Build and support customizations to core asset software including interfaces and UI changes.
• Possibly perform end-to-end development from analysis to delivery and maintenance.
• Apply knowledge of technologies and tools to support a client, project, or entity.
• Maintain and enhance Angular UIs and RESTful APIs using AWS API Gateway and Lambda.

Experience is important to us:

The Mid-Level Software Developer will have a Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree. Required tools consist of having the following:

Java, Node.js, Angular, SQL, AWS Cloud (Lambda).

Other tools would be:

SQL, Postgres, Atlassian Suite, CI/CD, XML, Python (nice-to-have), and some DevOps experience in an agile environment.

What you'll do:

• Develop and configure customized software product/system to meet client requirements.
• Build and support specialized customizations to the core asset software including conversions, interfaces, enhancements, and user interface modifications.
• May include end-to-end software development starting from analysis moving on to design, implementation, QA, delivery, and maintenance.
• Applies knowledge of technologies, applications, methods, processes, and tools to support a client, project, or entity.
• Maintain and enhance existing user interfaces (Angular) and RESTful APIs using Amazon API Gateway and AWS Lambda.
