Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Proven software development and coding capability.
  • Experience building apps with at least one modern programming language.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, APIs, and data integration.
  • Experience using source control tools such as Git.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, investigate solutions, and work independently.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with technical and nontechnical teammates.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete projects.
  • Willingness to learn construction operations in office and field.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to facilities and jobsites.
  • Preferred: Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, .NET, SQL.
  • Experience building web apps with React, Angular, Vue, Django, Flask, or ASP.NET.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Power BI, Power Automate, Azure, or similar platforms.
  • Experience creating APIs and integrating third-party systems.
  • Cloud infrastructure, deployment, and cybersecurity knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience building AI-assisted tools or using LLM APIs.
  • Background in construction, manufacturing, logistics, equipment management, accounting, or operations-focused industries.
  • Experience supporting mobile apps or tools for field employees.
  • Willingness to test ideas, accept feedback, and refine solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain internal software applications.
  • Write clean, secure, maintainable code.
  • Build web apps, mobile-friendly tools, dashboards, databases, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Create custom tools for construction operations, project management, equipment tracking, materials production, safety, HR, and accounting.
  • Develop automated workflows to reduce manual entry and delays.
  • Maintain source code, documentation, testing procedures, and version history.
  • Troubleshoot software issues and enhance existing apps.
  • Protect company information with cybersecurity practices.
  • Connect existing platforms for data flow between departments.
