Job summary

American Fidelity in Oklahoma City is offering a software development internship beginning January 2027. The program combines hands-on software development tasks with data analysis, testing, documentation, and reporting to support a specific department.

You'll prepare and deliver reports and presentations, work closely with a manager and other interns, and demonstrate strong collaboration, problem solving, communication, and a solid work ethic while learning quickly in a structured environment.

Qualifications

• Graduating May 2027 or after
• Available to come into the office during the internship
• This internship will start in January of 2027.
• Must be available to intern for at least 6 months but ideally 12 months
• Understanding of software development
• Must have completed a software development course
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
• Problem solving skills.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Competent business etiquette and business ethics
• Strong experience with MS Productivity Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly, especially technology.
• Ability to analyze and document both business and technical processes.
• Critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of PC hardware and software
• Strong work ethic

Responsibilities

Job description
