Expedia Group in San Jose is offering a Global Summer Internship Program as a Software Development Engineer Intern. You’ll gain real-world experience by working on high‑volume, scalable web applications and e‑commerce platforms across Expedia Group brands.

You will design, implement, and test features, participate in code reviews, and learn from mentors and leaders. A strong base in programming and teamwork is expected for this paid internship lasting multiple weeks.

Qualifications

• Familiar with at least one programming language (e.g. Kotlin, Java, Python).
• Strong problem solving and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to relocate to the job location if outside commuting distance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software components and services under guidance.
• Apply clean, maintainable coding practices with unit tests and reviews.
• Participate in API design and data modeling discussions.
