Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Software Development Engineer for Silicon Development Infrastructure in Austin, TX. You will architect, build, and operate the infrastructure that accelerates silicon development, collaborate with design, verification, and emulation teams, and create automation that eliminates manual toil.

You will own platform delivery and operations, from design through production, including CI/CD pipelines, verification, testing, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE or equivalent.
• 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
• Experience with at least one major programming language (e.g., C++, Java, Python).
• 3+ years of systems/infra experience including networking, storage, OS concepts.

Responsibilities

• Partner with silicon design, verification, emulation, and software teams to understand workflows and pain points.
• Build tooling and automation to reduce toil and speed up silicon development.
• Design, implement, and operate cloud infrastructure and HPC clusters (Slurm).
• Develop monitoring and observability to surface actionable insights.
