Amazon Private Brands is seeking a Software Development Engineer II in Seattle. You will own software design, development, and delivery for applications and systems, collaborating across teams to raise standards and deliver scalable solutions for millions of customers.

The role emphasizes customer obsession, innovation, and bias for action within a fast-paced environment. Relocation is not offered; on-site in Seattle with comprehensive benefits and RSUs.

Formación

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

To develop, launch and manage products at large scale, we need to build automated systems, applications and tools to manage the complex product requirements lifecycle, and ensure we continually deliver quality, compliant, safe and sustainable products to customers across the world.

As a Software Development Engineer on the team you will take ownership over the software design, documentation, development, engineering approach, delivery and support of applications, tools and systems. In this role you will collaborate with leaders, work backwards from customers, identify problems, propose innovative solutions, relentlessly raise standards, and have a positive impact on hundreds of millions of customers.

This role is based in Seattle, WA and will not support international relocation.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below.

Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
