Abbott is seeking a Software Design Quality Engineer for the Vascular division in Westford, MA. This fully onsite role focuses on quality engineering deliverables from concept through commercialization, within an Agile software lifecycle.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–5+ years of software design quality experience, including cybersecurity design quality and automation framework work. Abbott offers extensive career development and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer science, biomedical engineering, software engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum 2–5+ years of combined experience in software design quality, cybersecurity design quality.
• Experience ensuring automation frameworks and scripts meet design control requirements.

Responsabilités

• Lead, execute and support on-time completion of Quality Engineering deliverables from product concept through commercialization.
• Support on-time execution of Quality Plans.
• Guide development and documentation of standard operating procedures, specifications and test procedures.
• Support product recertifications.
• CAPA management including thorough investigations with root-cause analyses.
• Work within Agile software development lifecycle framework.
• Coach and mentor team members on design quality and product lifecycle testing/quality engineering.
