Job summary

DENSO North America is seeking a Software Deployer to deploy software modules across NA locations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure solutions. You will gather requirements, configure, deploy, train, and maintain software applications, troubleshoot defects via Help Desk, and contribute to system design while staying current with new technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Software engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• BI tools Tableau or Power BI preferred.
• SQL Server or PostgreSQL experience preferred.
• Microsoft Active Directory experience preferred.
• Experience with hardware like tablets, scanners and printers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements, configure, deploy, train and maintain software applications and services across NA locations.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and other engineers at multiple locations to manage deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues through Help Desk software.
• Contribute to system design discussions and technical decision-making with the development team.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends.

The Software Deployer role focuses on deploying software modules while collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure solutions. Working to advance NA Denso in Digitization and work toward autonomous manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements, configure, deploy, train and maintain software applications and services, both homegrown and 3rd party across NA locations
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers at multiple locations to continually manage deployments
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues through Help Desk software
• Contribute to system design discussions and technical decision-making with the development team
• Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree is Computer Science, IT, Software engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of related experience
• BI Tool experience: Tableau, Power BI, or other is preferred
• SQL Server or Postgres database experience preferred
• Microsoft Active Directory experience preferred
• Experience with hardware: Tablets, scanners, printers preferred
