Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Data Engineer to design and implement data pipelines on mission-driven projects. You will work with Databricks, PySpark, and data platforms to organize disparate data for insight and decision-making.

In this role, you’ll join a cross-functional team across cloud environments, contribute to data governance, visualization, and analytics, and help advance DoD-related initiatives while supporting a broad range of stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience building data pipelines in Databricks including PySpark, Delta Live Tables, or Unity Catalog.
• Experience integrating and transforming data within Palantir Foundry or Maven Smart System (MSS) environments.
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL and ELT pipelines across distributed compute platforms.
• Experience analyzing and managing data, including data visualization, data management, data governance, data strategy, and data engineering.
• Experience creating solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

You Have:

• 2+ years of experience building data pipelines in Databricks, including PySpark, Delta Live Tables, or Unity Catalog
• Experience integrating and transforming data within Palantir Foundry or Maven Smart System (MSS) environments
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL and ELT pipelines across distributed compute platforms

• Experience creating solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment

• Experience with the Department of War (DoW)
• Experience migrating legacy ETL logic into modern cloud platforms, including Databricks, Foundry, or Fabric

• Experience with process improvement approaches and methodologies
• Ability to synthesize results and deliver presentations to product owners or stakeholders
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing organizational processes

The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).
