Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a Software Commissioning Engineer to lead site software validation, generate test repositories, and communicate results with the project team and customer at our Harrisburg, PA location. You will use SQL to analyze solutions, read logs, train end users, and support system acceptance testing.

The role requires a US Government site awareness, security clearance eligibility, and a willingness to work on-site in Harrisburg, PA.

Qualifications

• Associates in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Security Plus Certification or ability to obtain.
• 301 V Certification, or ability to obtain.
• CAC (Common Access Card), or ability to obtain.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good technical skills and ability to learn new applications quickly.
• Basic understanding of relational databases and ability to write SQL queries.
• Strong problem-solving skills; self-starter; detail-oriented; multitasking.
• Strong desire to learn and grow in the position.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Passion to meet deadlines.
• Reside within 1 hour drive of the job site in Harrisburg, PA.

The Software Commissioning Engineer (SCE) is primarily responsible for leading and executing software test plans in support of customer's software solutions at customer sites. Testing results and progress to be coordinated and communicated with the project team and customer. Additionally, the SCE must be able to identify operating, engineering or software configuration problems and work to implement a solution. The customer is a US Government entity and requires personnel to have special security clearance AND be a U.S. citizen.

Pay Range

$62,000 to $78,000 per year

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements

This role is considered an on-site position located in Harrisburg, PA

• You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
• Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
