Job summary

Agile Defense seeks a Software/CNO Developer in Fort Meade, MD with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph. You will design, develop, and implement major software solutions, guide architecture standards, and collaborate with management and clients on feasibility and plans.

You will serve as a senior technical resource and may lead a team while engaging in demonstrations and industry events. Required: 8+ years, BS in CS or related field, TS/SCI with CI Poly, C/C++, Python, and Assembly experience across

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 8+ years of experience; or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience including 3 supervision/management experience or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Active TS/SCI + Polygraph required.
  • Experience with C/C++, Python; Assembly experience on multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees technical design, development, and implementation of large projects and/or major software products for clients/customers.
  • Assists in defining architecture requirements and establishing standards for design and development.
  • Consults with management and clients regarding product feasibility and viability of plans and designs.
  • Considers emerging technologies and product supportability in design and implementation.
  • Acts as primary technical resource to development team.
  • May lead a team, prioritizing tasks and reviewing others' work.
  • Provides product demonstrations and participates in industry events and user group meetings.
  • Interacts with customers regarding strategies, requirements, problem solving, and support.
  • This is normally the senior non-management developer level.

Job Description

  • Factors emerging technologies and product supportability into design and implementation
  • Serves as primary technical resource to development team
  • May act as team leader in prioritizing group tasks, determining individual assignments, and reviewing work of lower-level developers
  • Provides product demonstrations and participates in trade shows, seminars, industry panels, and user group meetings
  • Interacts with customers regarding strategies, requirements, problem solving, and support
  • This is normally the senior non-management developer level
Education and Background
  • Typically has a Bachelor's degree, and 8 or more years of experience, or equivalent relevant work experience; e.g., each year of work experience may be substituted for each year of education required
  • Manager typically has a Bachelors/Masters Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field
  • A minimum of 8 years experience, including 3 supervision/management experience or equivalent relevant work experience

Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university a related discipline and 8+ years of experience
  • Additional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree or Master's degree and 7+ years of experience
  • Active TS/SCI + Polygraph

  • Assembly experience (any platform/processor)
