Job summary

Kepler Communications is seeking a senior software leader to guide flight software, GNC, and ground systems at the cutting edge of space connectivity.

You will shape a coherent, reusable software architecture across programs, mentor engineers, and drive AI strategy adoption across engineering and the broader organization.

This role requires clear communication under uncertainty, building credibility, and strengthening program leads rather than overriding them.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive software engineering experience with senior authority.
• Experience mentoring senior engineers and developing future leaders.
• Proven ability to lead across a 50+ engineer software organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Ability to establish and execute an AI strategy across the organization.
