Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a Functional Safety Software & Automation Engineer to design and implement automated solutions for Functional Safety work products, verification and requirements traceability.

You will apply software development, AI and data analytics to reduce manual effort, integrate data across GitHub, CodeBeamer and MagicDraw/Cameo, and build reusable automation frameworks that support audit readiness under ISO 26262.

Qualifications

• Strong Python development capability with automation framework mindset.
• Experience with APIs, GitHub, CodeBeamer and MagicDraw/Cameo.
• Understanding of ISO 26262 and Functional Safety traceability.

• Support compliance evidence generation and improve audit readiness through traceable, data-driven outputs.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Strong Python development capability with automation framework mindset.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML or analytics techniques for engineering productivity use cases.
• Experience with APIs, GitHub, Codebeamer and MagicDraw/Cameo or similar engineering platforms.
• Understanding of ISO 26262, Functional Safety work products and traceability expectations.
• Ability to convert engineering pain points into scalable automation solutions.
