Job summary

PNC is seeking an experienced Software Architect to define end-to-end architecture for enterprise applications. You will leverage Spring Boot, J2EE, REST/SOAP APIs, and Kafka to build scalable, resilient systems that align with business goals.

You will collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams across multiple locations, including Pittsburgh, PA, to ensure security, performance, and regulatory compliance while guiding architectural decisions and mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10+ years IT experience with at least 3+ years as a Solution or Software Architect.
• Strong understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and own solution architectures for complex enterprise applications.
• Lead POCs to evaluate new technologies and guide integration with in-house products.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure security, scalability, and performance standards across systems.
