Job description

We’re seeking an innovative, highly experienced AI Software Architect focusing on Data and Visualization for a fixed-term role to help shape the future of intelligent talent technology. This is a strategic, hands-on opportunity to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of advanced AI and data-driven solutions within an enterprise SaaS environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define robust system architectures, introduce best practices for AI model development and deployment, and champion impactful data visualization strategies that drive insights and informed decision-making.

In this fixed-term role, you will…

• Lead the architectural design and technical direction for AI-driven features and data visualization frameworks within Cornerstone’s Galaxy ecosystem.

• Guide and mentor engineering teams through best practices in model development, visualization pipelines, and data engineering.

• Architect scalable solutions for large language models (LLMs), recommendation engines, generative AI, and complex data visualizations.

• Oversee end-to-end data workflows, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and visualization, ensuring security, compliance, and efficiency.

• Evaluate and select appropriate AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face) and advanced visualization libraries (e.g., Plotly, D3.js, Dash) for various business needs.

• Pioneer effective strategies in MLOps: model deployment, monitoring, performance optimization, and automated retraining across diverse environments.

• Define and enforce coding standards, documentation protocols, and interoperability across AI and visualization components.

• Present high-impact visualizations and technical findings to executive stakeholders, communicating complex results in accessible and actionable ways.

• Drive continuous improvement by researching emerging AI, data engineering, and visualization technologies, integrating innovative solutions into platform architecture.

• Actively participate in architectural reviews, Agile ceremonies, and cross-team collaboration.

You’ve got what it takes if you have…

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a closely related field; advanced degree or equivalent architect-level experience is preferred.

• Extensive experience designing and deploying scalable AI systems and advanced data visualization solutions.

• Deep proficiency in Python, data engineering, and AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, Scikit-Learn); hands-on expertise with visualization libraries (e.g., Plotly, D3.js, Dash).

• Proven track record architecting solutions leveraging LLMs, Generative AI, recommendation systems, and large distributed datasets.

• Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities, with experience guiding teams in complex technical domains.

• Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to convey architectural decisions and technical results visually and verbally at all organizational levels.

• Demonstrated proficiency in establishing coding standards, automation, and integration across multi-team environments.

• In-depth understanding of Agile, DevOps, and MLOps methodologies.

• A forward-thinking mindset and relentless curiosity to explore, adopt, and evangelize cutting-edge technologies.
