The role emphasizes collaboration with US, Germany and India stakeholders, and driving efficient software development for driver experience systems. The position requires a CS degree with 5–7 years in software and embedded development, knowledge of Android, Kanzi, Matlab/Simulink, and SOA, plus

Inside the Role

The Driver Experience Customer Domain develops HMI platforms for our Daimler Truck vehicle products for our global brands and markets. We provide innovative HMI solutions to our customers and their drivers. We are seeking a highly motivated Software Architect and Debugger for one of our HMI ECUs. Being part of our global development team, you will contribute defining our software architecture as well as root causing software bugs.

Position offers a starting salary range of $117,000 – $150,000 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, andexperience.

• Experience with identifying and solving the root cause of complex problems

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills

• Detail oriented, reliable, and self-motivated

• Strong skills in communication and team coordination across global teams (considering different cultural backgrounds) especially with the US, Germany, and India

• Ability to work in an environment of ambiguity and ongoing change
